My 33rd birthday began with a trip to Sagg Main beach with Jack and ended over dinner at Le Bilboquet, one of our favorite city restaurants that opened Memorial Day Weekend on the wharf in Sag Harbor. It is the perfect location for a relaxing evening. Picture this, Hotel Costes tunes playing softly over the speakers, sailboats pulling in to dock for the evening and the sun setting over the bay while you have a cold glass of Sancerre in your hand. Is there anything better? The food is delicious and the crowd is beautiful. The great news….they plan to be open year round. We continued celebrating over the weekend with a dinner party in our backyard on Saturday evening. The Seafood Shop in Wainscott (www.theseafoodshop.com) catered the party and we had a seemingly endless supply of my favorite rose- Wolffer’s Summer in a Bottle. Spending time with my family, friends from childhood and some fabulous new ones made me feel like the luckiest girl alive.
