The Spring holidays are a few of my favorites because they help pull us out of our sleepy winter moods. Passover and Easter overlapped this year which meant there was a lot to celebrate in our house! Jack participated in the seder this year, but poor Noah couldn’t stay up past his bed time, so he had to miss out. Jack enjoyed wearing his “hat”, drinking cup after cup of grape juice and wearing the different masks of the 10 plagues.
Easter was by far the most beautiful day of the year thus far! 80 degrees and sunny in New York City. After the Easter Bunny, also know as “Peter” made a quick stop by our apartment we decided to take advantage of the warm weather and drive north and have brunch at Jean George’s rustic chic restaurant The Inn at Pound Ridge. The restaurant had the same feel and similar menu to another one of his restaurants in Bridgehampton- The Topping Rose House. The staff wore the same gingham check shirts, jeans and sneakers and were incredibly child-friendly. The meal was delicious and after a round of sorbets we took the boys to the Pound Ridge Town Park just around the corner to end our day.Jack posing with his Easter Bunny arts & craft project.
